Our first ever treasure hunt - and everyone's a winner!

Be among the first to experience the very first Ace Places Treasure Hunt as Marlow becomes the launch town for an exciting new Ace Adventure!

Running from 31 July until 31 December 2026, this fun, family-friendly treasure hunt invites you to explore Marlow, uncover hidden clues and discover the stories, independent businesses and landmarks that make the town so special.

Whether you're a local looking to see your town with fresh eyes or a visitor wanting to explore beyond the obvious, the Marlow Treasure Hunt is a brilliant way to spend a few hours together.

How it works

Your adventure begins with a beautifully illustrated treasure hunt map, available exclusively from Marlow Museum for £3.50.

From there you'll follow the trail to 11 locations across Marlow, searching for hidden letters at each stop. Once you've found them all, unscramble the letters to reveal the secret two-word phrase and submit your completed entry to be entered into our prize draw.

Along the way you'll discover fascinating snippets of Marlow's history, learn about local landmarks and enjoy exploring some of the town's wonderful independent businesses.

Win fantastic local prizes

Complete the treasure hunt and you'll be entered into a prize draw to win prizes kindly donated by local businesses, including:

We're proud to be launching the treasure hunt in partnership with Marlow Museum.

Maps cost £3.50, with 50p from every map sold donated directly to the Museum, helping to support its work preserving and sharing Marlow's rich history.

To celebrate the launch, we're hosting a special children's Card Club at Marlow Museum's Pop-Up Museum on Friday 31 July from 10am–2pm.

Drop in to enjoy free treasure hunt-themed crafts and activities before heading off to tackle the trail. No booking required—just come along and join the fun!
