We’re over the moon to share that Ace Places has just been crowned Best Marketing, Advertising & PR StartUp in the South East at the UK StartUp Awards!
It’s a real royal flush moment for our joyful little venture – which began with a pack of illustrated playing cards celebrating Henley’s hidden gems, and has grown to include a second town (hello Marlow!) and a fast-growing community of local legends.
To be recognised at a national level for our mission – shining a spotlight on brilliant independents, sparking town pride, and helping people discover local treasures – means the world.
We’re already chatting to inspiring locals looking to lead their own packs in towns up and down the country, so you’ll soon be spotting Ace Places Playing cards springing up across the UK.
And the fun’s not over yet – this regional win means we’re now off to the UK StartUp Awards national finals this September! Wish us luck... and maybe cross a few fingers and toes.
This award belongs to every business that’s backed us, every charity we’ve supported, every franchisee bringing the idea to life in their hometown, and every person who’s picked up a pack and smiled at a familiar face or favourite spot.
We believe marketing can be beautiful, playful, purposeful – and rooted in community. Thank you UK StartUp Awards for this ace honour. We’re feeling well and truly shuffled and celebrated!
