You’ll not find a more quintessentially English pub than the Angel. It’s been around since 1728 as a watering hole for those in need of a cold beer and a bite to eat. Brass plaques in the bar commemorate Max Miller and Grace Kelly having been there too.
With a cosy log fire in the winter and the best view of the river from the terrace in the summer, this is a pub for all seasons. The kitchen is open daily serving all the classics you’d expect and if you’re in Henley on a Wednesday evening, be sure to book a table for the ever-popular quiz.

Do you deliver overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
Can I replace a lost or damaged card?
Yes! We offer single card replacements for a 25p donation and replacement boxes for a 50p donation to the pack’s nominated charity, plus postage. We’ve had cards falling in tomato soup and a hungry Spaniel eating the box so whatever the reason, don’t throw away your pack, just replace what’s damaged!
How long will it take to receive my orders?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What is your returns policy?
If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help:
- Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to return or exchange it.
- Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition
- Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund (excluding delivery charges) or arrange a replacement.
