The Relais Henley stands proudly on the banks of the Thames, steeped in centuries of history.
Known for most of its life as The Red Lion, this former coaching inn has welcomed royalty, river-goers and writers since the 16th century, with everyone from Charles I to The Beatles passing through its doors.
Today, it blends historic charm with boutique style, offering a luxurious stay in the heart of Henley. Much-loved chef Dominic Chapman now leads the kitchen, serving up beautifully crafted dishes in the elegant restaurant.
Turn right as you walk in and you'll find their bright and welcoming deli, the perfect spot for a morning coffee, light lunch or picnic by the river.
There's a gorgeous bar that's worth popping into for a cocktail as well as a magnificent courtyard where you can dine or just enjoy a drink. It's perfect for soaking up Henley's rich heritage.

Do you deliver overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
Can I replace a lost or damaged card?
Yes! We offer single card replacements for a 25p donation and replacement boxes for a 50p donation to the pack’s nominated charity, plus postage. We’ve had cards falling in tomato soup and a hungry Spaniel eating the box so whatever the reason, don’t throw away your pack, just replace what’s damaged!
How long will it take to receive my orders?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What is your returns policy?
If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help:
- Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to return or exchange it.
- Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition
- Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund (excluding delivery charges) or arrange a replacement.
